Join acclaimed guitarist and educator Paolo Fuschi for a series of three practical blues guitar workshops exploring rhythm, phrasing, improvisation and musical expression through his original composition, Rare Red Bear Blues.

Across six hours of tuition, participants will learn the piece, develop their blues vocabulary and gain the confidence to make the music their own.

Three Workshops – 4, 11 and 18 February 2027

1 – Learn the Blues
Learn the composition while exploring the building blocks of blues guitar, including rhythm, phrasing and expression.

2 – Develop the Blues
Take the piece further by experimenting with melody, rhythm and phrasing, discovering how simple ideas can be transformed and expanded.

3 – Make It Your Own
Build confidence in improvisation and creative expression, using the musical vocabulary you’ve developed to start finding your own voice.

Each session builds on the last, so participants are strongly encouraged to attend all three workshops.
