The Vale is providing FREE lunches on all 30 weekdays of the school holidays for school age children aged 5-15 years. The lunches are intended to help families who would benefit from free food provision during the school holidays, and so we’d love this flyer to reach those people.
Each lunch also includes a free creative experience in music, movement, craft or cinema; from experiences for little ones up to entertainment for high-school teens.

About Lunch + Gig
12pm-1pm, followed by lunch (closes 2pm)
Lunch + Gig is a special live music event for school age children and young people aged 5–15. Each booked child place includes a free lunch and a live music activity.
Anyone aged 5-15 is welcome to attend. Please note that noise levels will be high for this activity (earplugs can be provided).
To celebrate our final day of summer holiday activities, we will be joined by special guests Jubacana, one of our partner youth projects based in Oldham. Chat to them after the gig about how to get involved in their group for 8-18s.
The lunches are intended to support families who would benefit from free food provision during the school holidays. Everyone is welcome to enjoy music and lunch together.
One adult should attend which each booked child under the age of 11. Children aged 12-15 may attend solo, but are also able to bring along one adult.
