Join us at The Vale on Wednesday 9 September for a free community screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing, a new 50‑minute film introduced by Chris Packham CBE that sets out how the climate and nature emergency is already affecting our lives, our economy and our future.

Featuring accessible evidence from leading scientists, the film offers a clear picture of the risks we face, and the solutions within reach.

Across the UK, communities are gathering to watch, reflect and talk about what can be done together. Here at The Vale, we believe real change begins close to home, so we’re inviting our neighbours, partners and friends to join us, get informed and be part of the discussion. 

The film is designed to be a catalyst for wider public conversation and a step towards a fully accessible national briefing delivered by independent experts.

It’s not an easy watch, but it’s an essential one. By understanding the challenges clearly, we can respond with purpose, hope and collective action; starting right here in our community.
