Historically The Vale would have been a hive of activity and noise – which is not much different to today, really! We have a vibrant, diverse programme of cultural experiences on offer all year round. All you have to do is join us! Read on to see what live performances and cinema we have on offer, and all the creative participatory opportunities you could wish for.
Live events
The Vale is perhaps best known for our live performance venue where a whole host of different music, theatre and dance events take place. There’ll be something to hook you in, we guarantee it! Take a look at our current season and book your tickets below.
Participate
The Vale is the place to get stuck in. With our team on hand to guide you through, you’ll learn new skills, meet new people and, most importantly, have the most fun you’ve had in ages! With opportunities for adults, kids and professional artists, now’s your chance.
Cinema
Sure, you can go to your local high street and watch the latest blockbuster, but surely you’d prefer a more intimate setting with your friends and neighbours, a fully stocked bar and the opportunity to join us with film-related cultural experiences before or after the event?
