At The Vale, we know that no one becomes a creative leader on their own. Everyone needs encouragement, guidance, and the chance to learn from others along the way. Many of our team first found their path through support like this, and now we’re here to help the next generation of young creatives do the same.

Our Training & Mentoring opportunities are all about giving you space to grow. They’re not formal courses with lots of rules – instead, they’re tailored to your ideas, interests and ambitions. Whether you want to explore leadership, run your own project, or take your artistic practice further, we’ll support you to take the next step.

• Work shadowing — see behind the scenes of workshops, rehearsals or events, and find out how things really work.

• Free space and resources — use The Vale’s studios, equipment and materials to develop your own youth-led projects and ideas.
