This free\, brand-new 12-week course is here to help you do just that. \nThrough three hands-on mini-modules\, you’ll gain practical creative skills and the confidence to take part in a public art event in Tameside. You’ll be guided by friendly artist facilitators with expertise in Carnival and visual arts. You’ll also be invited to get involved in community events at The Vale during the programme – and even after it ends. \nModule 1 –  Masks with Mel (4 weeks) \nModule 2  – Making a Carnival piece for display (3 weeks) \nModule 3  – Textiles with Lizzie (4 weeks) \nWe’ll support and guide you every step of the way and you don’t need previous experience. \nThe course will run every Wednesday 12 – 3pm for 12 weeks. Whether you are a sewer looking for access to a machine\, a sculptor needing space to spread out\, a musician in search of a quiet room to rehearse\, or a henna artist wanting somewhere comfortable to practise and develop your work\, you are very welcome here. \nThe atmosphere is relaxed and supportive\, offering time and space to focus\, experiment and make progress on your work.
