SUMMARY:Turn the Tide
DESCRIPTION:If you’re interested in the arts\, like trying new things\, or just want to make some new connections in a friendly and relaxed space\, this project could be for you!  \nThis summer\, Between Earth and Voice is running Turn the Tide; a week of creativity\, connection\, and culture for young people to devise an original performance piece. \nBetween Earth and Voice is a youth-led\, multidisciplinary\, creative arts organisation that works professionally and with the community to create powerful\, poignant devised pieces of theatre. As young people themselves\, they’re passionate about nurturing an environment where young people can have creative freedom and ownership over their artistry and voices. \nThis opportunity is a week long process to create a new performance piece. Any and all art forms including singing\, dance\, poetry\, and even art forms that are not performance based. If you’re aged 13-18 and would like to get involved\, here’s everything you need to know: \n\nLocation: The Vale\, Micklehurst Road\, Mossley\, OL5 9JL\nDate: 24-28 of August 2026\nFor young people aged 13-18\nWe are particularly – but not only – looking for young people from Mossley/Tameside to be involved.\nNo experience required\, just a willingness to try new things and create something amazing!\n\nThere will be taster workshops beforehand\, from which we will form our cast of young people.
