Drawing on the rich musical traditions of New Orleans\, their sound channels the spirit of street parades and celebrations\, where the line between performer and audience dissolves into one shared experience. \nFormed in Bologna\, a city shaped by crossings\, cultures\, and musical “bridges”\, BBB embodies connection. Their name reflects their mission: bringing together different worlds\, people\, and genres through the irresistible force of brass and percussion. \nRooted in the spontaneity of early jazz\, their music is infused with funk\, hip‑hop\, and the pulse of techno. A driving four‑on‑the‑floor bass drum\, deep sousaphone lines\, choreographed movement\, and bold\, eccentric outfits give the band a distinctive and unmistakable presence. \nBBB take their music far beyond the stage. Festivals\, streets\, squares\, clubs\, and public spaces become arenas for dancing\, sharing\, and collective joy. DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to announce legendary drum master Steve White of The Style Council\, Paul Weller\, Trio Valore and more is coming to The Vale with his new band\, promoting his latest album ‘Soul Drums’ (Acid Jazz Records). \nSteve White came to fame as drummer with The Style Council\, appearing on the majority of the band’s recordings throughout the ’80s\, touring the world\, and appearing at ‘Live Aid’ in 1985. \nWhen the Style Council broke up\, Steve co-founded his own group with saxophonist Alan Barnes – The Jazz Renegades – who were one of the first bands from the ‘Acid Jazz’ movement. Steve went on to perform with Galliano\, The Young Disciples\, JTQ and more around that time. \nSteve White joined the Paul Weller Movement in 1991 and continued to record and perform with Weller throughout the first decades of his solo career. DESCRIPTION:Few acts in the UK can demonstrate such a profound influence\, a multifaceted legacy\, and carry such a mysterious legendary status as Transglobal Underground. \nFrom their origins in the dance scene in the early 90s they became one of the country’s best loved festival bands\, a techno sound system\, a pop group\, a club night\, a Middle Eastern hit production team\, an improvised study group for Indian classical music\, an Albanian brass band\, a duo..or was it an octet?… \nTransglobal Underground exploded onto the club scene with the club classic ‘Temple Head’ a track with inspiration taken from the UK bhangra scene\, with one foot in the Madchester and indie worlds\, and another in club music.
