DESCRIPTION:The Bologna Bridge Band – known affectionately as BBB – is a high‑energy brass band born beneath one of Bologna’s most evocative bridges. Drawing on the rich musical traditions of New Orleans\, their sound channels the spirit of street parades and celebrations\, where the line between performer and audience dissolves into one shared experience. \nFormed in Bologna\, a city shaped by crossings\, cultures\, and musical “bridges”\, BBB embodies connection. Their name reflects their mission: bringing together different worlds\, people\, and genres through the irresistible force of brass and percussion. \nRooted in the spontaneity of early jazz\, their music is infused with funk\, hip‑hop\, and the pulse of techno. A driving four‑on‑the‑floor bass drum\, deep sousaphone lines\, choreographed movement\, and bold\, eccentric outfits give the band a distinctive and unmistakable presence. \nBBB take their music far beyond the stage. Festivals\, streets\, squares\, clubs\, and public spaces become arenas for dancing\, sharing\, and collective joy.
