The Vale hosts an unmissable encounter between B C Manjunath\, India’s foremost rhythmic innovator\, and Sidiki Dembélé\, the master djembe player and griot from the Ivory Coast. \nBC Manjunath\, the Indian master of mridangam and konnakol\, is internationally recognised for his fearless rhythmic innovation and extraordinary precision. His work bridges Carnatic classical tradition with jazz\, flamenco\, and contemporary world music\, expanding the very language of rhythm. \nSidiki Dembélé\, born into a celebrated griot family of musicians\, diplomats\, and oral historians\, commands the djembe and ngoni with magnetic energy and profound cultural insight.
