(14+) \n \nYoga Session from Flow & Glow Yoga: 9 – 10am\nCome along and try a relaxing beginners yoga session with Flow & Glow Yoga Co. DESCRIPTION:Sunday 18th January\nJoin us for an afternoon of fabulous live music at The Vale as part of our Monthly Sunday Sessions 1pm – 4pm. \nA relaxed afternoon of excellent live music in a welcome environment perfect for the whole family. Grab a drink from the bar\, bring some pals\, your kids\, sit and listen or maybe even join our house band for a number or two. And best of all its free! We hope to see you there! \nIf you’re interested in playing at our Sunday sessions then please do get in touch as we’d love to hear from you! \nOur house musicians will be playing a mixture of Latin and Brazilian vibes with an informal ‘Pagode’ style set with a unique Mossley flavour.  Pagode is a type of samba originating in Rio de Janeiro\, Brazil. Distinguished by rhythmic improvisation\, its acoustic sound is created using a variety of percussion instruments\, song and string instruments such as Cavaquinho and guitar. \nWith special guests Laura Smyth and Ted Kemp\n \nAs interpreters of traditional English folk\, Mossley based Laura and Ted breathe life into old songs found in archival manuscripts\, recordings and broadside ballads\, as well as their own compositions inspired by folklore and local legends. They take a no-nonsense approach to their arrangements with uncompromising acapella harmonies or stripped-back accompaniments on banjo\, cello\, concertina\, and guitar\, allowing the songs to shine through. Their album “The Poacher’s Fate” was met with critical acclaim\, being short-listed for album of the year by FRoots magazine\, and described as “…destined to become one of the most important releases of the year” in RnR.

Whether you come to roll dice\, work on an army project\, or simply hang out and talk all things Warhammer\, you will find a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. \nSessions run from 7.00pm to 10.00pm every Monday\, with plenty of time to socialise\, get creative and enjoy the hobby at your own pace. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday Welcome is back! First session is next Wednesday 14th January 2026.\n\nWe invite you each Wednesday\, 1 – 3pm to join us for a couple of hours of friendly chat\, a hot drink and creative activity here at The Vale. \n\nSessions are free. Donations welcome. \nEach week we’ll open our space to provide a warm welcome and an optional craft based activity. \nThe first activity will be willow weaving\, then we’ll be working on a ‘Too Great For Hate’ banner\, which will be displayed in local centres promoting positivity in our community. \nAlternatively\, you can bring your own craft project from home\, play one of our board games\, or just enjoy being around others for a couple of hours with a hot drink. \n\nWe warmly invite you to drop-in\, say hi and enjoy our creative and friendly space.
