DESCRIPTION:Music • Dance • Craft • Community\nSunday 23 November | 12pm – 4pm | The Vale\, Mossley | Free Entry\nPresented by Djembe Kingdom in partnership with Global Grooves\nStep into a day of rhythm\, movement\, and connection as Sidiki Dembélé and his ensemble Percussion d’Abobo bring the spirit of Côte d’Ivoire to The Vale. \nFresh from their UK tour\, this vibrant cultural celebration brings together acclaimed musicians\, dancers\, artists\, and community groups for an unforgettable day of music\, dance\, storytelling\, and craft. \nFounded by master percussionist Sidiki Dembélé\, Percussion d’Abobo are a collective of musicians from Abidjan trained in Mandeng traditions including djembe\, dunun\, and balafon. Their performances are joyful\, precise\, and full of power — rooted in heritage yet alive with contemporary energy. Together\, they embody Sidiki’s mission to build opportunity through rhythm and celebrate culture as a force for unity and pride. \nThis event will transform our venue into a festival of sound and creativity.
