Sessions are designed to spark curiosity\, build confidence and give young people the chance to explore materials\, learn new skills and enjoy being creative together. \nThere is no need to book and no experience needed. DESCRIPTION:Our Space at The Vale\nTry something different. Make friends. Feel good outdoors. \nOur Space is a relaxed\, friendly Saturday morning garden session where we come together to care for and grow The Vale’s wild garden. It is a welcoming space to connect with nature\, learn practical skills and be part of something positive in your local community. \nAcross the winter and spring programme we use simple permaculture techniques to make the garden more eco friendly and full of life\, creating habitats for Mossley’s birds\, bees and everything in between. \nLed by our facilitator Jayne\, you will be hands on each week. Planting\, growing\, building and making small nature projects such as a pond in a pot\, a bee waterfall and other mini habitats. Every session is a little different\, and you can join in as much or as little as you like. \nWhat to expectA healthy\, friendly atmosphere with like minded peopleHands on activities and practical skillsFresh air\, muddy hands and plenty of laughsTea\, biscuits and a good chat \nNo experience needed. Whether you are completely new to stone carving or have some experience\, you will be warmly welcomed. \nTools\, equipment and stone can be provided if you would like to try it out\, making this a great opportunity to have a go without needing to invest in materials.
