Join us at The Vale to celebrate the joys of Springtime and sample some Carnival activities from drumming to stilt walking. Then stay for an afternoon of live music for all ages.

Gong Bath 10am

Immerse yourself in sound and allow the gong vibrations to wash over you in this hour long gong bath. Bring a mat and a blanket/pillow or anything to increase comfort and relaxation. Suitable for ages 14+. 

Arts and Crafts 10am-12pm

Stilt Walk Taster with Full Stilt:

Try your hand at Stilt walking with resident stilt company, Full Stilt.

These two 30 minute taster sessions will give you a chance to see what the view is like at 2-3 feet taller, finding the balance and joy of stilting. 

11am and 11.30am. Please use the sign up form below

For safety reasons this activity is only recommended for those 5 Feet tall and above and over 12 years old.

Garden Spring Trail 11.30am-2.30pm 

Drop in

Spring trail will start and finish at the pedal power station next to the Vale Garden . There will be certificates and a book prize for everyone who completes it.

Suitable for all ages

 

Create a garden spiral:  Drop in 10am-12pm

Suitable for all ages with little ones requiring supervision

Ride Out Loud 11.00-2.30pm

Can you keep our outdoor sound system powered? Pedal to keep the music, lights and good vibes flowing.

Bike heights -suitable for ages 6+

 

Make a willow bird house (45 minute time slots 10am-1pm)

Suitable for ages 8+

Be a Butterfly 12-2pm

Cabasa are unfurling their butterfly wings for you to wear. Let’s celebrate emerging from winter and flutter around The Vale. Why not explore the garden and see how many fellow butterflies you can spot?

Suitable for ages 5+

 

Have a go at performing a Spring themed poem or song at this friendly outdoor pedal powered stage.

 

12-1pm Carnival Taster:

Move and groove to Carnival rhythms creating a Spring Up band!

Suitable for age 8+ accompanied by an adult (littler ones are welcome to tag along)

 

Into the afternoon:

1-5pm stay to enjoy an afternoon of live music with some Millstone ales, wines and plenty of non-alcoholic options. Enjoy the sounds of Brazilian and Latin music from our Sunday Sessions house band as well as special guest artists to be announced soon. 

Food and drink: 

Pop up cafe for teas, coffees, and treats in studio 1 10 am-12.30pm 

Enjoy a drink and snacks from the venue bar from 1pm-5pm

Make a day of it and pop over to our neighbours at Pizza Love to sit in or grab a take away.
