Starting September 17th
Live in Tameside and ready to boost your confidence, get creative, and try something new? This free, brand-new 12-week course is here to help you do just that.
Through three hands-on mini-modules, you’ll gain practical creative skills and the confidence to take part in a public art event in Tameside. You’ll be guided by friendly artist facilitators with expertise in Carnival and visual arts. You’ll also be invited to get involved in community events at The Vale during the programme – and even after it ends.
Module 1 – Masks with Mel (4 weeks)
Module 2 – Making a Carnival piece for display (3 weeks)
Module 3 – Textiles with Lizzie (4 weeks)
We’ll support and guide you every step of the way and you don’t need previous experience.
The course will run every Wednesday 12 – 3pm for 12 weeks. The first session is 17th September and the last session on December 3rd
